NSW Rail Museum

We went here with the intention of riding the old steam train and I'm sorely disappointed.

We bought a ticket for both the museum and the train and I was with my mother at the time. We split up, since she needed to watch the boy we look after and I wanted to go look at the trains.

When we had bought the ticket, they explained that there would be an announcement for when we could board the train and even though we covered most of the place (not outside, not somewhere where we couldn't hear..), we did not hear any announcement and missed the train. We actually watched it leave.

My advice to anyone wanting to go to this; BOARD THE TRAIN THE MINUTE YOU GET IN THERE, DO NOT LOOK AT THE MUSEUM FIRST, JUST RUN TO THE TRAIN.

Also! If you miss the train, no refunds! It wasn't even our fault.
